I love libraries. Getting lost between shelves, touching and enjoying the cover of many books, and reading so many synopsis that at the end, you can't even remember the title of the first three books you took.

What pushes me to decide which book to loan is, quite often, the dedication...how to explain it...it "embraces" you, and you like it so much, that you have to keep on with the reading...

Tomorrow I will go back to the library, in search of "hugs". Can't wait to know the title of the next book.

MOMENT

After such an intense month of August, I could not select just one moment. Therefore, Everynone here it is a big thank you once again....a moment: something that goes beyond the senses.

Fotografiska. Stockholm

During my stay in Stockholm, I had the chance to visit Fotografiska.
For the ones who doesn't know, Fotografiska is a Forum for Photography.
2,500 square meters to show the work of many renown photographers. It is located in "Stora Tulhuset" Stadsgardshamnen, 22.

Heading to the museum, soaking (yes, I also tried Swedish rain), and without knowing the exhibitions that were on display, what a surprise!!!!

Lennart Nilsson-A Child is Born
Vee Speers-The Birthday Party
Annie Leibovitz-A Photographer's Life 1990-2005

What else could I ask for? I spent several hours inside enjoying every single photograph, and a cup of tea in the great cafe from where you can enjoy the view of Gamla Stan and Tivoli.

I bought several postcards, and cried for every single book I couldn't take with me :(

Annie Leibovitz exhibition was amazing...and I couldn't avoid smiling when I saw two photographs of the Guggenheim museum of Bilbao that she took when it was being built...it is always nice to see a piece of your hometown while you are abroad :)

Vee Speers-The Birthday Party
Annie Leibovitz-A Photographer's Life 1990-2005

Garden State

That's life. If nothing else, its life. It's real, and sometimes it fuckin' hurts, but it's sort of all we have

I have been away for several days, enjoying and admiring lovely Scandinavia...after a long trip and so many stops on the way, I got home...hours later lay down to enjoy Garden State once again, from the story to the soundtrack...everything is perfect.
Small details, big moments.

I would love to see you tap-dance."
